Eye-to-eye  
will suffice for a bit,  but to a certain degree,  
I need skin-to-skin.   
[What if our fingers interlocked?]   
We go back to your bed,  
fall asleep side-by-side.  I wake up  
to the glow of your face: immaculate light.   
My eyes trace the freckles  that fall delicately,  in different constellations  on your body.

I’d pull your hands down to my hips,  but only find myself lost in your eyes.  And as my lips draw near to yours,

i was looking through my old submissions of work...mostly written work..and i just wanted to thank the people that took the time to read it and comment it. its always a wonderful feeling when someone recognizes your work, especially when its the words that create one's soul and depict their fleeting emotions.
